Bizikume - Women Cyclists
During the month of March, Bizikume visits us.
It was a pleasure to host this group of women cyclists. They created some very interesting routes. After a good breakfast prepared by Argi, they would set out to explore the route and return at dusk, ending the evening with a nutritious and delicious dinner prepared by Argi. To wrap up the weekend, they took a slightly easier route on Sunday, joined by some new companions, and ended with a delicious bean stew prepared by our cook.

The Wedding of Naiara and Allan

On July 28th, we celebrated this very special wedding. The family arrived the day before to take some time for relaxation and preparation. Argi prepared a very special menu for the occasion, Eli and I took care of getting everything ready, and together, we made it happen.
It was a day overflowing with happiness and joy. Sallobante welcomed the event with great enthusiasm, harmony and joy reigned.
We like to celebrate love.
Art Retreat by Nimbo Taller
Sandrá from the Nimbo workshop organized something very beautiful.
From July 11 to 14, Sallobante Aterpetxea hosted the Nimbo School of Art from Madrid. It was truly magical, with art being so implicit in my life. Illustrators, painters, sculptors, gathered in our house to carry out a project inspired by Basque mythology. They worked in small format, dimensions, and I still get goosebumps remembering that beauty.
I was lucky enough to see them in action since they were in charge of our meals and dinners, I was helping our dear Argi, the talented cook from Sallobante. Argi prepared some delicious menus, adapting in a very logical and practical way to the different intolerances of the members, integrating those special menus for the entire group. ??? Javier??
Buddhist Retreat - Peace is Served
At the end of June, Sallobante Aterpetxea hosted a group of Buddhist Meditation for a retreat, where they were able to enjoy a day in peace, embraced by the energy of the centenary trees that surround the house. There was a lot of peace in the house when they left, in addition to leaving us some beautiful flowers.

After an intense and fruitful season, cup in hand, the Lointek cadet team spent an evening reconnecting with nature and resting in Sallobante, always delighted to host them.
